AIDS Walk Los Angeles is a journey
Love. Passion. Activism. Rage. We all walk for different reasons.
AIDS Walk Los Angeles started as an experiment and collective voice shouting to be heard. It was the first march of its kind — raising awareness of an epidemic, providing funds for those people living with the disease and remembering the lives of those already lost.
It’s a somber story, and the fight to end the epidemic continues. Fortunately, at APLA Health we now have the tools and knowledge to see an end to the epidemic in Los Angeles. Support for people living with HIV — including our Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries and housing support, community education on PrEP and U=U, and comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare will all help to stop the spread of the HIV in Los Angeles County.
But this will only work with your help. The epidemic didn’t go away. Thank you for staying with the fight.
