PrEP and U=U: Acronyms That Can Save Lives
New medical tools and knowledge are changing the way we think about ending the HIV epidemic.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a once daily pill that helps a person who is HIV negative, stay HIV negative. Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) proves that when a person living with HIV achieves an undetectable viral load through regular medical care, the virus can no longer be transmitted to others through sexual contact.

PrEP and U=U are changing the game in the battle against HIV and AIDS, but it’s an outrage so few know about them.

That’s why APLA Health is dedicated to spreading the message, and that’s why AIDS Walk Los Angeles is important. The money you raise helps APLA Health reach out to more communities who may need to hear about these lifesaving tools.

How’s your fundraising going?
