Celebrate National Health Center Week with APLA Health
Today marks the start of National Health Center Week, a celebration of America’s health centers and the communities they serve. APLA Health’s 8 centers and clinics provide critical services that address the needs of underprivileged populations in Los Angeles County.
Our goal is to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic and reduce the stigma around the disease. That’s why we do more than just diagnose and treat patients—we promote long-lasting, healthy lifestyle choices that improve outcomes for people living with HIV and help HIV-negative folks stay negative.
Your health starts with access to food and housing. APLA Health’s NOLP is the nation’s largest network of food pantries for people living with HIV/AIDS. Our Housing Support Services program assists people facing homelessness with finding, financing, and moving into housing. Only through addressing the day-to-day needs of our entire community can we truly end the epidemic.
