Gina Lozano’s 10 year walk for love.
My name is Gina Lozano. I’m part of the Anthem Blue Cross Team and I’ve been participating in the AIDS Walk for 10 years now. What started as a fun event has grown into a passion, as each year I see the people affected by the love and money we raise.
My heart and energy is put into every email I send out to raise money for AIDS Walk LA because I know on the day of the walk it will be worth all the hard work I put into raising the money that all my wonderful sponsors shared. I can not tell you the joy it brings me to be there the day of the walk with thousands of family and friends brought together by the same mission to support our loved ones battling AIDS.
I encourage you to send out e-mails to everyone you know and to follow up once they make a commitment to sponsor. My experience has taught me that even though people want to sponsor they sometimes forget because of their busy day and a kind reminder will help your fundraising efforts grow.
